Finally semi-human!

I am finally feeling semi-human again!

Somehow I got myself to the doctor Friday. Paul was still home, he has been hit with this way harder than I have. He missed two days and two nights of work. That is unheard of for him! He is working tonight, but I'm hoping they will let him go home early.

Anyway...got myself to the doc, and waited for a while past my appointment time. It's definitely flu season. I finally got in and got examined. Blood was taken and a shot was given. After the second shot I actually got sick. I was embarrassed and tired and had a fever and ended up throwing up. Ugh. The doc of course told me a lot worse has happened in that office, but still.

Around 10pm I finally broke the fever and was feeling less like I wanted someone to shoot me and more like, "Maybe I will actually be able to sleep tonight!". Which I did. And it was good.

I went outside today for an hour or so. Did some grocery shopping and such. I feel like I've been hit by a truck. It's amazing how it takes it out of you.

I'm just glad I'm coherent again and feel like moving around a little.
