I love games, all kinds of board, card, trivia games.
IYT has all kinds of "board" games that you can play for free on line. You don't have to be on at the same time as your competitor, you play when you can. I've gotten my buddy Wade hooked on it too. He and I play the tournaments and "ladder" games. And of course we play each other. We are both competitive when it comes to these games, and I usually lose. LOL. BUT...I DO NOT GIVE UP! :-)
It teaches me patience.
I started playing back in 1999 when I had WebTv and it was one of the few game programs you could play with it. I continued playing off an on and for the past two years have been playing a lot. :-)
It's great fun.
They have Backgammon and Checkers. Battleboats (which is like Battleship) and Jamble (which is like Scrabble). They have Pente and Hex and and and......
Most of the games have variations too, which make it even more fun!
Currently I am playing backgammon, battleboats (dark and double decoy), Jamble, Hex, Halma and Go Moku.
Give it a shot if you can. And challenge me to a game. No worries, you'll probably win :-)
